Description

The quintessential Masai Mara safari delivers many attractions as the reserve hosts one of the largest concentrations of game year-round. Witness the spectacular Great Migration, featuring over two million wildebeest, zebras, and other antelopes. &Beyond owns two lodges here: Kichwa Tembo Tented Camp and Bateleur Camp. The reserve is a photographer’s and naturalist’s paradise with abundant elephants, buffalo, giraffes, lions, cheetahs, leopards, endangered black rhinos, hippos, and crocodiles in the Mara River.

Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi - Masai Mara Pickup from your location by 0600hrs and travel through the Rift Valley to Narok town for a short break, then proceed to Masai Mara National Park arriving by 1200hrs. Check in and have lunch at the lodge. Relax in camp before an afternoon game drive starting at 1430hrs to witness wildlife and migration. Return to camp by 1800hrs for dinner and overnight stay at Goshen Mara Camp. Day 2: Masai Mara - Nairobi Wake-up call at 0600hrs for early breakfast. Early morning game drive from 0600 to 0930hrs, with chances to see the Big Five and capture sunrise photos. Optional visit to a Maasai Village (own expense) to learn about Maasai culture and enjoy traditional dance. Depart for Narok for lunch and return to Nairobi early afternoon with hotel drop-off.
