Description

Amboseli National Park, located in southern Kenya near the Tanzanian border, spans 392 square kilometers. The park is renowned for its large elephant herds, spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro, and diverse ecosystems that include swamps, acacia woodlands, and open plains.

Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi – Amboseli You will be picked from Nairobi early morning and driven through scenic landscapes to Amboseli National Park. After arrival, enjoy lunch at your lodge followed by an afternoon game drive, where you will spot elephants, giraffes, zebras, and a variety of birdlife. Overnight at Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge or similar. Day 2: Full Day Game Drive Spend the day exploring the park with morning and afternoon game drives. Look out for large herds of elephants, lions, cheetahs, and the rare black rhino. Between drives, relax at the lodge and enjoy spectacular views of Kilimanjaro. Optional visit to a Maasai village to learn about the local culture (at own expense). Overnight at the lodge. Day 3: Amboseli – Nairobi After an early morning game drive, enjoy breakfast and then depart Amboseli for Nairobi. Arrival in Nairobi by late afternoon with a drop-off at your hotel or airport.
